No More Sidelines to host their 2nd Annual Harvest Homecoming Dance on Saturday, November 17th at Pewamo Westphalia High School, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Bring 1-2 friends, along with siblings and other family members. Welcome Special Moms!
I am the mother of a very special severely multiply impaired son, Ryan–the joy of my life! I started this blog to network and share resources with other mothers of special needs children in Michigan and around the country.
My son is now 17 year’s old. Over the years, I have found it very difficult to learn about resources available in Michigan for him. Whether I am looking for a special need’s friendly dentist or special need’s indoor soccer options–there is no one place I can go and find out this information. I thought this blog may be a good place to share.
Today, I will throw this out—Has your child attended any good special need’s camps this summer? I am specifically interested in learning about summer camps available in Michigan. I would be interested to learn about camps around the country and special need’s friendly resorts or vacation destinations as well. I would love to take my son on a vacation where his needs could be better met and he could meet and interact with other special need’s children.
